Judith "Judy" Abernathy (nee Riddle) Obituary
Before her marriage to Jerry, Judy had a successful Management career in food service. After marriage and motherhood of two, Judy served as a lunch lady at Highland Junior High and York Chester Middle School before retiring in 2015.
Judy leaves behind to cherish her memories a son Matthew Abernathy and a daughter Kristin Metcalf (William), grandsons Mason and Landon Bruce, two sisters Crystal Hernandez (Josue) and Bonnie Riddle-Sarpalis (Karl), two brothers Sheldon Riddle (Lynn) and Melvin Riddle Jr (Donna), as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Judy loved everything about butterflies. So in lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in tribute to Judy to the Butterfly Atrium at Hershey Gardens.
