Back in 1991 in my first job after graduating college was at Golin/ Harris. I came from an insulated immigrant family where most women were mothers and not “career women.” When I first encountered Judy as the GM and EVP I was very intimidated as she was obviously so smart and quite serious. But as I got to know her and learned from her at work, I grew to admire her. She was smart and funny. When I found out she liked to read the National Enquirer on long plane rides, she won me over. May she Rest In Peace; she was a wonderful role model for me just starting out in the world.

Jude was an amazing light that you couldn't help but be drawn to. Her sense of humor was sharp and spot on . she spoke her mind when others would try to be politically correct. It was a privilege to spend time with her as a caregiver! I think of you often sweet Jude!

-- I am a friend of Judys from the time we overlapped at Burson-Marsteller in the early 1980s. After leaving Judy at B-M, I lost touch with my dear friend. In reviewing my personal materials that had been boxed and stored for more than 20 years, I just found a letter from Judy and began a mad search of social media to find her. Alas, my search ended in this very sad place, as I read that we lost Judy (or was she Judith, then?) just last year.
-- Judy was a light for me in B-M, a voice of reason with a terrific and wonderful sense of humor. I adored her and valued both our friendship and our professional relationship. I am sorry I lost touch with her, and even sorrier now that it is impossible to reconnect.
-- I hope you have passed through the most difficult stages of mourning and are finding Judys memory a blessing. Please accept my deepest condolences at this tremendous loss.

I am so sorry to hear of Jude's passing. She was the very best friend of myself and my husband Rob Scavone in the years that we overlapped as graduate students at Yale. Jude's generosity, cleverness and devastating wit attracted many and made us love her.
