Judith Schipani Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Sep. 9, 2024.
Judith Luella Schipani (née Bartholf), known affectionately as Judy, passed away on September 8, 2024, in Delray Beach, FL, at the age of 84. Born on February 8, 1940, in Pittsburgh, PA, she was a beloved member of her community and a shining example of kindness and generosity.

Judy, alongside her late husband William R. Schipani, was the co-owner of Better Hearing Aid Service and they diligently served on the board of directors of the YMCA of Boca Raton, where they were deeply involved with the scholarship program in their late sons name for graduating seniors. Their commitment to the community was profound and felt by many.

She was a vibrant soul who loved to sing and dance. During her high school years at Langley High School in Pittsburgh, she was part of a trio known as "The Blendels," performing at school dances and functions, bringing joy and music to many.

Judy is survived by her daughter, Pamela Olson; son, Gary Schipani; grandchildren, Alicia Olson, Mia Schipani, and Billy Schipani; daughter-in-law, Paula Cologgi; brother-in-law and his wife, Michael & Lisa Schipani; and many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and grand nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Bartholf and Thelma Faith Johnson; her beloved husband, William R. Schipani; and her son, William P. Schipani.

In lieu of services, Judy's life will be honored through memories and private reflections. Those wishing to honor Judy's memory can make contributions to the Alzheimer's Association of America. Her generous spirit and loving nature will be remembered by all who knew her.
