Judith (née Sawkill), formerly Sheppard, on 11th November 2011, aged 75 years. Dearly loved wife of Richard for 24 years, and of the late Bill for 25 years. Loving and adored mother of Philippa, David, Jane and Mary, a devoted Granny to her 12 grandchildren, and much loved sister of Ruth and John. Despite enduring many years of poor health, she lived a full and happy life. Characteristically she faced her final illness with immense courage and dignity, and died peacefully surrounded by her family. Private family funeral. Service of Thanksgiving at St Botolph's Church, Bossall YO60 7NT on Friday 9th December at 12 noon. No flowers please. Donations if desired to Arthritis Care c/o Bryan Mills Funeral Directors, 2 Church Road, Stamford Bridge, York YO41 1AA.
