OLIVA-DAVIS Julia (nee Prinzivalli), of Ormond Beach, FL, formerly of Leonia, NJ died on Thursday, September 17, 2009 surrounded by her family. Julia is survived by her husband, Douglas Davis, son, James F. Oliva, daughter, Julienne Oliva and husband, Paul Unsworth, sister, Rose Lauer, grandchildren, Melanie Rose Corallo, James and Richard Oliva. She was predeceased by her first husband, James V. Oliva and her brother, Joseph Prinzivalli. A long-time resident of Leonia, Julia was an active parishioner of St. John the Evangelist Church. She taught CCD and was President of St. John the Evangelist School Mother's Guild. Together with her late husband, Jim Oliva, she successfully owned and operated an industrial rainwear manufacturing company located in Garfield. Julia was a passionate matriarch renowned for her Italian cooking, singing and dancing. She also loved to play tennis and travel. Donations may be made in her memory to Florida Hospital Hospice, 875 Sterthaus Ave., Ormond Beach, FL 32174. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. John the Evangelist Church, 470 Broad Avenue, Leonia, NJ on Saturday, September 26th at 10 AM.

Julieanne, I'm so sorry to read about your mother. She was truely a lady in every sense of the word. I remember her well from the "Moms" playing tennis and going out on your Dad's boat. Again, I am truely sorry for your loss.
