Julian Korn Obituary
He graduated from Erasmus Hall High School, on Flatbush Avenue and was a member of the Crescents, a group of fellow students who remained friends for life.
Julian spent his entire career working in the garment Industry. After he officially retired, he spent the remainder of his life volunteering, first as a tour guide for the Central Park Conservancy and later as a Big Apple Greeter. During the winter months, he was a volunteer at Six Mile Cypress Slough Preserve in Fort Myers, Florida.
Julian traveled all over the world with his beloved wife Marilyn. They had an amazing life together and were always on the go whether it be attending the theater, catching a musical performance or spending the day at a museum. Julian had a keen sense of curiosity and loved to read. He especially enjoyed historical biographies.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Korn, children, Pamela Ajhar and husband, Brian, Robert Albino and wife, Evelyn and Richard Korn and his partner, Renee Cohen, grandchildren Alec Ajhar and wife, Angela, Jarrod Ajhar, Andrea Korn, Allie Korn, Kevin Albino and wife, Melissa, Jake Albino and Eric Albino and wife, Jacqueline, He was the great grandfather to Alder Ajhar, Georgiana Albino and Harrison Albino.
Julian loved meeting new people and always made an effort to keep in touch with his friends and family. Over his last decade, he conducted extensive genealogical research and brought together his extended family members from places far and wide for his bi-weekly Sunday Korn zoom calls.
He was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him.

Julian was my mother Harriet's little brother. He was a truly wonderful man and became the family connector and patriarch in his later years. He connected us with cousins all over the world. I called him "my beloved uncle" for the last few years of his live. I loved him very much for my whole life.
