Julie L. Bertrand

Julie Lyn Bertrand, 30, of Fall River, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2017 at St. Anne's Hospital surrounded by her loving family and friends. Julie fought a lengthy battle but ultimately succumbed to the disease of addiction. Julie was a 2006 graduate of Somerset High School. She was a kind and loving person who enjoyed spending time with family, friends and especially her three children, Nevaeh, Julianna and Victoreah. She was the daughter of Marilyn (Mercier) Bertrand and Joseph Bertrand. Survivors also include: Joyce Czajka, grandmother, Donna Chasse, aunt, her three daughters, six siblings including Jason Bertrand, Sheena Bertrand, Irene Pelletier, Sarah Pudlo, Lissa Costello, and Marim Pelletier and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Her foster family included Frank and Jean Murphy and sisters, Jocelyn Medeiros, Meaghan Nicolay and Cassandra Sousa. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 4-8 PM, at Auclair's Funeral Home, 690 So. Main Street, Fall River, MA on Friday, September 8, cremation to follow. One of Julie's last acts of kindness was her gift of life through organ donation.
