Julie Ann Miller

Julie Ann Miller, age 80 of ~Modesto, CA~, passed away peacefully on November 27, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Julie was born in Merced, CA to the late Gilbert and June Aveller. She was a loving mother, devoted sister, cherished grandmother, and a dear friend to many.

She was known for her kind and compassionate spirit, always putting the needs of others before her own. Her warm smile and gentle nature brought joy to all who knew her. She had a passion for flowers and animals, and she spent many hours tending to her beautiful flowers, which brought color and life to her home and those around her.

Julie was a breast cancer survivor and volunteered at the Women's Cancer Society. She also enjoyed volunteering at the local animal shelter, where she found fulfillment in caring for animals in need. She had a deep love for her furry companions and was always quick to open her heart and home to any creature that crossed her path.

Julie will be dearly missed by her children Jeffrey Keckler and Jill Keckler-Firouzi, 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, brother Greg Aveller from Merced, Ca., extended family members, and a wide circle of friends and colleagues.

Her legacy of love, kindness, and service to others will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her. Julie's memory will forever be cherished, and her impact on the world will never be forgotten.

A celebration of Julie's life will be held privately by her family on the California coast. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc. in Julie's honor.

Rest in peace, Julie Ann Miller. Your light will continue to shine brightly through all those whose lives you have touched.
