Julio Andrade Obituary

BOSTON - Julio O. Andrade, age 57 years, died unexpectedly as a result of a motor vehicle/pedestrian accident.

He was the father of Tara Barros of New Bedford, Jason DePina of Georgia, Jeanette Andrade of New Bedford and the late Juliette Andrade. Mr. Andrade was the brother of Sandra Andrade of New Bedford, Sheila Holmes of Georgia, Joaquina Andrade of Nevada, Loretta Pina of Middleboro, John G. Andrade III of New Bedford, Vincent J. Barboza of Rochester, Paul Barboza of Fall River, Albert Barboza of Taunton and the late Mildred Andrade and Priscilla Grace. Mr. Andrade also leaves behind seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Andrade was a son of Jeanette (Barros) Barboza and the late John G. "Sonny" Andrade II. He was also the stepson of Vincent Barboza. He was a graduate of Old Rochester Regional where he starred as a member of the football team. Mr. Andrade loved sports and boxing. Lately he was attending the Active Day Care facility where he was very involved with the programs offered there.

Mr. Andrade's funeral will be Friday from the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St., at 8 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at Our Lady of the Assumption Church at 9 A.M. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery. Visiting hours are Thursday Evening from 5 - 8 P.M.
