June Carr

CARR, June Irene It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother June Irene Carr on September 7, 2006, at the age of 70 years. June was born in Edmonton on June 20, 1936. She devoted her life to caring for others, as a mother, grandmother, and Registered Nurse (Class of September, 1958). She took care of all of us. Her love, kindness, and generosity have enriched our lives and touched our hearts. She will be forever cherished by all who knew her. June is lovingly remembered by her children Eileen (Don), Melanie (Robin), and James (David), grandchildren Kelsey and Keiran, sister Shirley (Neil), brothers Lawrence (Margaret) and Edward (Janet), sister-in-law Gwen, and numerous nieces, nephews and close friends. She is predeceased by her parents, Alexis and Irene Mazurek, and brother Gerald. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2006, at 1:00 p.m. at Trinity United Church, 8810 Meadowlark Road, Edmonton, with Reverend Armand Houle officiating. Interment to follow at St. Michael's Cemetery, 13819 - 82 Street. Donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
