June Lee

June Lee, 84, of Ripon, passed away on March 31, 2012, at home, with her children by her side.

She was born July 1, 1927, in Omro, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Clayton and Mae (Stewart) Wightman.

She married Kenneth Lee on May 4, 1946, at the Borth United Methodist Church, where they were members for many years. They spent 39 wonderful years together until Ken's death in 1985.

She was the food service director at Juliette Manor in Berlin for 20 years.

Over the years, June had many interests including drawing, playing the piano, traveling, gardening, and sports. She loved her family, friends, the Packers, and the Brewers, usually in that order. She was a great mother because each child felt they were her favorite.

She is survived by her children, Larry of Redgranite, Sharon (Jerel) Ballard of Ripon, Joan (Tim) Koch of Berlin, Doug of Berlin, and Bill (Lisa) of New London; her grandchildren, Jaime Lee (fiance, Troy), Eric Lee, Clayton Ballard, Lance (Kara) Ballard, Michael Koch, Les (Kristen) Lee, Ken Lee, Megan Lee, and Sydney Lee; her great-grandchildren, Josie, Paxton, Mason, and Alec. She is also survived by her sister, Ardis Reaves of Lincoln, Ill.; her in-laws, Bob and Louise Lee of Omro, Wis., Bernice and Norman Flannigan and Janice Lee, all of Winneconne, Wis.; many nieces and nephews; and good friends.

VISITATION & SERVICES: Friends and relatives may call at Mueller Funeral Home, Winneconne, Wis., on Wednesday, April 4, 2012, from 4 until 7:30 p.m., with a funeral service to follow at 7:30 p.m., with the Rev. Scott Piper officiating.

Private burial will take place on Thursday, April 5, at Borth Cemetery.
