June Elizabeth Seither Plauche', born 1/16/1949, passed away peacefully in the presence of her loving family on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at the age of 69. Beloved wife of Ronald John Plauche' since their marriage July 13, 1968. Loving mother of Shannon Plauche' McNabb, Randall Plauche' and Benjamin Plauche'. Grandmother of Madison McNabb, Taylor McNabb, Tyler McNabb and Landon Plauche'. Sister of William Seither III, Marty Seither, Richard Seither and Elizabeth Seither Canova. She was predeceased by her mother Florence Olga Martinez Seither and her father William Herman Seither Jr. June attended St Catherine of Siena Elementary School, Archbishop Chapelle High School and University of Southern Louisiana (ULL). She was an avid gardener who loved to travel. She served as treasurer of St. Jude Society at St Mary Magdalen Church. She was a member of Our Lady of Divine Providence Church, the Red Hat Society, Silver Wings, and Bonco Beauties. She volunteered for Meals on Wheels. Throughout her career she served as a financial secretary for various charitable non profits. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Greenwood Funeral Home Chapel, 5200 Canal Blvd, New Orleans, LA. on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM. To sign the on line guest register, please visit www.Greenwoodfuneralhome.net.

You will be sorely missed for your friendship, giving spirit, uplifting personality and diligent work on the past reunions for our grade school and high school.
