Justin W. Byers

Justin W. Byers, of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away at North Oaks Medical Center on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at the age of 43. He was born on Saturday, May 6, 1978, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Justin had one of the biggest hearts and cared for everyone he ran across. He had a drive for knowing God, and the passion showed in his eyes when he was speaking of the Lord. He was a God-loving man. He was also a natural philosopher at heart and there was never a problem he couldn't help you work through. He was a brave, heroic man who only wanted to see the brighter days. He may be gone, but he will remain alive through the ones he touched forever. Justin will be dearly missed. Justin is survived by his mother, Elaine Byers; daughter & son-in-law, Haley and Kelvin Bourne; daughter, Grace Byers; and grandchildren, Avery Byers and Alana Bourne. Also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Jim Byers; and grandparents, Albert and Jennie Newman and Alton and Dallie Byers. Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 100 W. Magnolia St., Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454 on Saturday, March 5, 2022 from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 1:00 pm, with Pastor Diedra Allen officiating. Interment will follow at Sand Hill Cemetery in Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
