Karen Ruth Dolbow

Karen Ruth Dolbow, 75, of Buena, NJ, passed away peacefully at home with her daughter by her side on March 15, 2024. She was known for her feisty nature and her love for chocolate peanut butter, while harboring a strong hate for dandelions. Karen retired from Durand Glass and had previously worked at Salem Memorial Hospital and Mannington Mills. A graduate of Woodstown High School.

She found joy in reading, indulging in chocolate, particularly chocolate peanut butter ice cream, and savoring a good "Top Shelf" White Russian. Karen also took pleasure in her outdoor plants and assisting her neighbors in getting rid of dandelions! She was an avid fan of Jeopardy, always striving to answer more than 3 questions correctly on any given night. She was always there for a good cup of hot tea and stories to be told.

Karen is survived by her dear sister, Sharon E. May (Dolbow), brothers Terry A, Perry E, and Garry T Dolbow, dear sister Sherry "Mel" DiOrio (Dolbow), son Ronald J. Cheesman Jr (Renee), daughter Ronda L. Bard (Benjamin), grandsons Dylon Clahar, Ronald J. Cheesman III, Matthew Cheesman, Zachary Cheesman, Ben Bard; granddaughters Sierra Clahar, Aurelia Dismus, Kanai Dismus, Rozlyn Dismus and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by parents Warren L. & Caroline Dolbow Sr (Wolbert) and brothers Warren L and Harry C. Dolbow. She will also be missed by cousin & friend Joyce Montana, aunt & friend Joan Chaffins and dear friends Dallus & Madeline (Maggie) Bruso; plus many more friends, neighbors and relatives.

Karen, rest in peace. Although your goal was 100+ years old... God had other plans. Your job down here is done.

A private ceremony for close family and friends will be planned.
