Karen A. Drewa, age 49, of Fox Lake, died Saturday, July 25, 2009 at the Beaver Dam Community Hospital.

Visitation for Karen will be at St. John''s Ev. Lutheran Church in Fox Lake on Wednesday, July 29, 2009 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Funeral services will follow at church on Wednesday beginning at 11:00 AM. Rev. David A. Nottling will officiate. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Fox Lake.

The former Karen Ann Semrau was born on March 13, 1960 in Jefferson, Wisconsin to Ewald and Lylas (Raabe) Semrau. On December 18, 1976, she was united in marriage with Clayton Drewa in Fox Lake, Wisconsin. Karen was a very creative person who enjoyed crafts and flowers; as a result, she was able to create some very beautiful and unique items to decorate her home and her family and friends homes. She also enjoyed cooking and she loved to fish. But above all, Karen was a devoted mother and wife. She was a member of St. John''s Ev. Lutheran Church in Fox Lake.

Survivors include her husband, Clayton P. Drewa, Sr. of Fox Lake, two sons, Clayton (Anne) Drewa, Jr. of West Bend and Dan (Margaret) Drewa of Waupun, a granddaughter, Sophia Drewa, her parents, Ewald and Lylas Semrau of Randolph, her sister, Jodie (John) Wiese of Rosendale, her brother, Tim (Nicole) Semrau of Friesland, five nieces and nephews, her sister-in-law, Lucinda (Richard) Hein of Fall River, other relatives and friends.

Clayton and family, we were so sorry to hear about Karen. she was truly a sweet and wonderful person, and will be greatly missed.I am sure God will have a special place for her in Heaven.
