Karen WALLER Obituary
On October 16, 2021, Karen passed peacefully at Darfield Hospital; in her 61st year, surrounded by all her family. Dearly loved and cherished daughter of John and Pat Waller. Wonderful, supportive and dearly loved sister of Julie and Christopher. Much loved partner of Laurie Buckton and his son Will Buckton. Treasured and loved Aunt of Sean Rofe, and loved sister-in-law of Stephen Rofe. Precious and loved niece of Aunts Janet and Jean, and cousin to Stephanie, Michael, Carol, Jeremy and Timothy (England). Dearest friends Lorrayne and the late Bevin Alexander. Dear family friend Diana Jackson. Our grateful thanks to the nurses and doctors at Greymouth Hospital, Christchurch Hospital, Nurse Maude and the District Nurses of Darfield who attended Karen during her illness and in her last days. A special thank you to the nurses at Darfield Hospital for their warmth and kindness to Karen and our family.
Our beautiful, kind, generous, animal loving Karen will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered forever.
According to Karen's wishes, there will be no funeral. A private cremation has been held. In lieu of flowers, any donations may be made to the Cancer Society, St John Ambulance, or an animal charity of your choice online.

So saddened by reading of Karen's passing. Weve known Karen since Fox Glacier days and have many happy memories of her love of life and especially her love and devotion to animals. Our deepest sympathy and love to all of Karen's family and to Laurie and Will. She will be so sadly missed.
