Kari Lynn Nelson, age 62, of Hudson, passed away peacefully Tuesday May 14th. She was born October 2nd, 1961, in Minneapolis, MN. Kari attended Coon Rapids High School and later attended UW - Stout. She was happily married to Clark Nelson on Jan 16, 1987. Kari spent many years working at Honeywell and Anderson Windows in Bayport. Kari was a lover of nature (her plants and feathered friends), she enjoyed volunteering at 22 Farms, Meals on Wheels (New Richmond), and Christian Community Home (playing Mexican dominos). Kari loved her 2 kitties (Chucky and Meep), family, chosen family, and friends. Her smile and laugh will be missed by all.

Kari is survived by her husband Clark; lovely mother to darling daughter Jamie (Kyle) Blaha, stepson Ben (Tricia) Nelson; 4 grandchildren Gordon (Papo), Ella (Samantha), Bodie and Lainey; Mother Carol Peterson; sister Kaye Pearson; nieces and nephews, and many other family and friends.

Kari was preceded in death by father: Gordon Peterson; sister Korinn Luke; Mother and Father-in-law George and Ella Mae Nelson.

A celebration of life will be held in her beautiful bird filled yard, Sunday June 23rd, from 1pm until when it ends. Please bring a special memory to share with others, as there are many. In lieu of any gifts or plants please donate to 22 Farms in Baldwin, Wisconsin.

To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

Oh man, she never let me live it down. We met Kari at Helfer's and I asked Clark how old she was!
