My heart goes out to Kathy's family. I knew her as a young lady and even then she was extremely gifted. Helma, Don, Patty...you are all in my prayers. God bless,

Kathy was an amazing woman who was a wonderful mentor, teacher, and friend. She helped shape the lives of so many Hiram College students (including me) with her guidance and personal touch. Kathy's impact will continue to be felt by countless numbers of young people, as her former students move on in the educational field and apply the lessons they learned from her.

Kathy and I worked together as teacher educators. Many years ago, I had the pleasure of serving as a program consultant and getting to know both Kathy and the Hiram program that she loved so dearly. She was bright, dedicated, and caring. She was also a real lady (and I do not use the term lightly).
She will be sorely missed by many.

Professor Feather was wonderful. Kathy watched out for me and when I began to doubt myself and the career path I chose while attending Hiram, she was one of the most encouraging people with whom I talked to in order to make the best decision for ME. Kathy was not just a guide and great faculty member to students in the education department, but to students across the board. To her daughters Julie and Elaina and the rest of Kathy's family, I send great condolences and pray that you get through this time in the best way possible.

Kathy was a wonderful colleague. She was one of the first to welcome me to Ohio when I arrived as a new head of teacher education at Lake Erie College. She will be sadly missed. Our prayers are with her family now.

Kathy's gracious spirit touched my life many times in the few short years I knew her. Our family prays for yours as you heal from this deep loss. Kathy is missed and always loved. God Bless!
