Katie and I became fast best friends at 9 years old. My mother and I were bringing her home one afternoon after our very first, of many, sleepovers. In an effort to prolong our time together she told my mother she didn't know where she lived. We stopped at nearly every house in Pittstown, my mother even asking homeowners if they knew where the Grogan's lived. Katie and I watching from the window and giggling away. That's my first memory and it always makes me smile.
