KATHERINE LADD Memoriam

Published by Monteal Gazette on Apr. 16, 2013.
LADD, Katherine Baker
(nee Laughton)
February 27, 1934 - April 16, 2012
Dear wife of Herbert Ladd and
daughter of Dr. Nelles and
Katherine Laughton
(both deceased).
She is survived by her husband;
by her brother Charles Laughton
(Marion) and their family;
her son Mark Ladd (Peace River,
Alberta) and her daughter Hilary
Ladd (Olunsalo, Finland);
and her four grandsons
Ian & Miles (Mark),
Joonas and Nickolas (Hilary);
and the extended Ladd families.
Katherine was born on February
27th 1934 in London, Ontario
and passed away in her sleep after
a brief illness on April 16th 2012
here in Montreal, and
she had remained in her home
throughout her illness.
Friends and relatives will be invited
to a Memorial Celebration of her life
in mid-July 2013 here in Montreal
(time, date and location to be
determined and announced later).
Thanks to all the
wonderful relatives,
friends and the staff at the
Montreal General Hospital
who have helped Katherine
and myself during
her last several months.
She had remained positive and
courageous throughout her illness.
She will be remembered by all that
knew her for both her brilliant mind,
the breadth of her knowledge and
her forthright personality.

I will always remember her as young and vivacious - both of you enjoying my parents' rather wild parties in Windsor

A year has passed; it must be a difficult time of year for the entire Ladd family. My thoughts are with you.
