Sharon and I lived across the alley from Kathy and Brian and had many wonderful conversations with both. Will really miss her and our condolences and prayers go out to the family and Brian.

Brian, Katherine, Tony, & Angela, I'm very sorry to hear of your losing Kathy. Chris called and told me about her condition and I was praying for her comfort. As a kid I remember hearing about her accident at Aunt Eva's and how beautiful she was. Both girls are beautiful. I am glad I got to spend time around her at Aunt Jewels as adults. She was an inspiration. I admired the love in your family and it reminded me of my own brothers & sister. Uncle Alvin was one of my favorite uncles and I remember a special time with him & my dad in Kentucky when I as around 14. Uncle Alvin made me feel comfortable, felt like his kids has some of his special kindness in them. Missed seeing you at the funeral, my sons were playing in a state championship in San Antone.
Lean on Jesus,
Love,

I looked up to Kathy so much when we worked together at the Hyatt. She became a dear friend and we shared so many good times together. I am so shocked and saddened at the news. I know she is free and an angel in heaven now, but it doesn't make it easy on those she left here on earth. My deepest sympathy to her family...Brian, her mom, sister, brothers and all her family who knew what a special person she was. We were blessed to have her in our lives. Beautiful inside and out....I have met no one like her and I know I never will. Time and distance has separated Kathy and me recently, but my memories of her and the inspiration she was to me will always be close to my heart. God Bless Kathy. I love you. Susan Gerken LeBlevec

Kathy, you and I were friends when we were so very young! We lived across the street from one another. Not a day went by when we were not over each other's house - back in the day! You were the "little sister" that I never had!
Time passes; events occur; and, the first thing you know - you and your best friends are "separated" - physically; yet, never "separated" from your heart!
To Brian and Kathy's family: You are all in my Prayers during this hard and difficult time. I think of you (all) so often!
Although I am not able to be there "physical"-please, *know* that I *am* with you in "Spirit"!
Also, I do know: I have another "Special Angel" in Heaven, who is now watching over her husband, Family, and all of her friends!
Kathy, our memories are with me *always* and *Forever*! I Thank you for being a part of me, and my life!

Sweet beautiful Kathy...I have so many wonderful memories of you that I will cherish forever. After mom died, you stepped in when no one wanted my sister and I. You took us under your wing and took the best care possible that you could give to two "orphan" teen aged girls. Mom was so proud of you and so were many others. I wish I was able to see you again before you left this earth, but I have wonderful memories of how beautiful you looked and that will stay with me forever. I love you Kathy, rest in His care now. love your little cousin Michelle

My dear angel, KT - I know you are dancing in the arms of our Savior now - with no pain or limitations and only that can ease the pain of our earthly loss. Your grace, charm, wisdom, beauty, and loving spirit were so inspirational to all those whom you touched. Since you came into my life around 15 years ago, you've been a blessing and a friend. You shared your family and your friendship willingly and for that, and so many other things, I am grateful. You left me better than you found me - you taught us all much. Give Jenn a big hug for me - and explore our Father's palace for us.
To Kathy's family - our hearts are heavy for you. Those she knew at American Express are grieving and mourning with you. Brian - your love and care for Kathy over these last few months have been extraordinary. You've borne our tears while heroically fighting for her care while going through your own pain and grief.
May the prayers of all God's children lift up the grieving and carry you forward day by day. May you be proud of and bouyed by knowing how very loved KT was. We lift you all up in the name above all names - our Lord Jesus.

Brian and all of Kathy's family, my heart is so heavy today after hearing about Kathy. She was a dear friend and we shared several years together when we worked at American Express. We had lots of fun times together and they are all fond memories. I was privileged to take her to several Dr. appointments, and she NEVER EVER complained. Kathy was truly an inspiration to all, her spirit was the best and she had an infectious laugh that I will always remember. She was truly a beautiful person, inside and out. To Kathy's family I hope you will hold on tight to all of the years of memories, hopefully they will ease your grieving a bit. Farewell my dear friend, rest well with no more pain. We miss you already!

Kathy will be truly missed!! I have enjoyed my friendship with KT for over 8 years. KT was the American Express Representative for the EDS account, that is were we spent long and wonderful times together. My prayers are with you Brian, and the family. Kathy - you were more than just a friend. You were an inspiration to many by your inner strength and outward beauty. Your trials and tribulations only made you stronger and that reflected in your daily actions. Your love for God and family shined through your beautiful smile and occassional tears. I find inner peace with your early departure from this earth by knowing you are in a better place...With your crutches and wheelchair left here on earth for someone else to use... I see you running, swimming and taking that dive one more time. You are finally free...... I love you my friend. Until we meet again.....Monique
