Kathleen Snover Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Sep. 1, 2025.
Tucson - Kathleen Ann Snover, age 82, of Tucson, AZ, passed away on Monday, August 25, at her residence. She was born on February 5, 1943, in Dallas County, TX. She was the daughter of the late Charles Morrison Kella and Grace Bucher Kella.

Kathy was preceded in death by her husband of 18 years, Arnold Snover, and her son, Devin Depew. She was also preceded in death by late husband Tommy Stubbs (25 years) and former husband and father of her children, Ronald Depew (14 years).

Kathy is survived by her son, Matt Depew, and her daughter, Lisa Depew Redding (husband Jon). Her three granddaughters are Maddie Depew, Ava Depew, and Rebecca Redding.

Kathy grew up in Dallas, TX and earned her bachelor's degree from Texas Christian University. She worked as a teacher in Virginia and Maryland before staying home with her children for 12 years. Kathy went back to work in school administration, and she retired from Dunham Elementary School, where she served as Office Manager for many years.

Kathy enjoyed spending time with her family. She and Arnie took Devin to the movies and out-to-eat nearly every week. She also enjoyed reading, playing with her cats, and going on vacation. Kathy spent many happy times with her "Cali Girls" friends from Dunham, both visiting California and going out to dinners with the group.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm on October 18, 2025, at Rincon Church in Tucson, AZ. A coffee/cookie reception will follow until 3:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Parkinson's Research.

Kathy was a devoted mother, wife, and daughter. I have known her since 1980 when she and my brother, Tommy, married. She will be missed! Rest in peace Kathy.
