Katie was a vibrant member of our family at the Greater Chicago Food Depository. I have been a volunteer there for many years and Katie was one of my favorite volunteer coordinators. When she was there, she lit up the place with her welcoming smile and wonderful personality. She and her family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry about the loss of your dear Katie. I have so many wonderful memories of her, going as far back as little girls with the sleep overs and birthday parties, to visiting her at St. Cloud. I will miss that amazing smile and the way she could light up any room with her presence. She made so much sun shine through, and inspired so much joy in the lives she touch. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to everyone who was lucky enough to know her.

Dear Judy:
We never met your daughter, but we have met you through Diane, and your mom. Words can't express how sorry we are for you.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories, and the love and support of your family bring you comfort.

My wife Sue and I got to know and love Katie when she worked at the Greater Chicago Food Depository. We have volunteered there for years and were delighted with how Katie approached her work and the volunteers with compassion and commitment. She will remain in our prayers.
