KATHRYN MOHR Obituary
Age 81 of Finleyville, formerly of Baldwin, passed away at home on Tuesday, April 2, 2019. Loving mother of Richard (Connie) Plungin, Chris Plungin, Jodie (Donnie) Brown, and the late Lauren Patterson; proud grandmother of Chrissy (TJ), Shelly (Pat), Tommy (Alaina), Amber, Nicole (Chris), Kevin, Alex, Justin, Jared, Kayla, James (Sonia), Jeff (Jackie), Kaiti (John), Jon, and Jason. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren. Friends and family will be received on Thursday, from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 p.m., with a service at 8 p.m. at PAUL HENNEY CREMATION & FUNERAL TRIBUTES, 5570 Library Rd., Bethel Park, PA 15102. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Animal Friends, 562 Camp Horne Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15237. henneyfuneralhome.com.

Hi Mom, you have been in my thoughts more than usual lately. I hope u r happy and healthy up there. Alex got married in the middle of covid last year. He had a small ceremony but is doing it all again in 2 weeks. Kevin got married in July. It hurts that u weren't there to see it. Kevin and Kim had a really pretty memorial table set up with your picture there and flowers. I cried 1st half hour then got a handle on myself. Kev did it mom, he is finally a nurse. I can almost here u scream with delight. U would b so proud. Rick and Chris r doing OK. Try to keep in touch with the family but everyone is so busy these days. I hope u r surrounded by 1000 beautiful flowers and even more dish towels! I love u mom. This never gets better. Each new day I wait to see how bad it's going to hurt then try and adjust accordingly. It will never be the same without u here.

Happy Mother's Day mom! We made an island for you with lilacs, I think you would like it. We actually planted the lilacs last year and surprise! They actually grew back this year! We were shocked too lol. Everyone is doing ok. Crazy times mom. I met with Rick and Chris to have a drink for you yesterday and reminisce. We sure have some great memories mom ❤. Please give Laurie a hug for me and keep an eye out for Sarge, he's coming. I love you Mom

Hey Mom,,
Two months have now gone by and I still haven't quite figured out how to get through this. I'm just going through the motions, day by day. I do pretty good during the day but nights are really rough do you have any idea how many lives you impacted just being you? Your stubborn polish streak? Your dry sense of humor? Your trucker mouth? There will never be another one like you and that makes me incredibly sad. I hope you know we did the best we could. I'm so sorry I didn't take more time to take you places and do more things with you. We have managed to keep your plants alive (well, most of them anyway ) and Callie is driving me nuts, think I'm going to give her to Chris . I know your the life of the party there in heaven mom, that's surely where you are. ♥

Blessings to the entire Mohr family
Kathie & I enjoyed each others company, we had so much fun working
at Matthews, I would go home with her at lunch time to feed her many
dogs that she oved so much. As i'm
sending this message I'm smiling about
all the stories Kathie would tell.

We made it through today somehow mom. Everything was beautiful and everyone's support was amazing! There were so many people who came to see you! As Rick said it was standing room only. And the flowers I'm sure you loved them all. I know you are with Laurie now please hug her for me. Did you see our New Jersey family? They had alittle mishap on the way to see you, sorry Jerry(!) But made it safe and sound all to see you and drive back tonight. I have to try and rest mom. Thank you for being a fantastic mom. I love you.
