Kathryn O'Hair Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jan. 12, 2018.
Kathryn Millsap O'Hair left us Thursday, January 11, 2018 after a long, rich life. She was born on February 27, 1926, to Boyd and Essie Millsap in Abilene, Texas.

In 1946, she married her love and partner for life, R J O'Hair. She graduated from Texas Technological College later that same year. During their 62 years of marriage, Kathryn and R J were successful partners in both life and business.

She is survived by four children; Sheila O'Hair Jones, J Marc O'Hair, Toni O Tucker and T Brant O'Hair, eight grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and her brother Mike Millsap.

A family service will be held Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Resthaven's Abbey Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations to one of Kathryns' favorite charities would be appreciated.

Donations to The Childrens Home of Lubbock, Meals on Wheels or Samaritan's Purse.

Kathryn was a wonderfully a strong woman with an impeccable will but also with a soft and beautiful heart. She blessed our lives with grace and poise, with smiles and laughter, and with her unique sense of family. We hope you all are aware that you have friends who love each and every one of you and are here for you, to listen, to hold a hand, to share a heart, to share a memory and to care. We are so sorry for your loss. Glen and Bettina Cox
