Kathy Anna Flanagan

Blanchard - Kathy Anna Flanagan (nee Olson), 71, of Blanchard, Oklahoma, passed away on April 6, 2024. Born on February 23, 1953, in Butte, Montana, Kathy was a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. She will be remembered for her kind and caring nature, always lighting up a room with her smile. Kathy's love for the Lord was evident in all aspects of her life.

Kathy is survived by her daughter, Telisa "Lisa" Kelly (and her husband, Antony "Tony" Kelly), her brother David Olson (and his wife, Diane Olson), and her youngest grandson, Bryan Byler. She was preceded in death by her adoptive parents, Carl and Elaine Olson, and her oldest grandson, Tyler Burrell.

A graduate of U.S. Grant High School in 1971, Kathy had a passion for crocheting, cross-stitch, and spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed building Lego kits, especially cityscapes and Victorian houses. Kathy shared a special bond with her grandson, Tyler, whom she affectionately called her "goober."

A private memorial service for family will be held by close friends, Steve and Tammy Durham. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to your local chapter for Alzheimer's and Dementia care, support, and research.
