Kathy Juliano Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 26, 2025.

Kathy Juliano (1958 - 2025)

Kathy Ann Juliano, 66, of Round Rock, Texas, peacefully passed away March 14, 2025, after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Kathy was born in Dallas, Texas, on October 12, 1958, to Francis Ellen and Samuel David Peeler, Sr. She was a later addition to the Peeler family - her brother, David, being eighteen when she was born and her sister, Nancy, aged sixteen. Her childhood was spent in the Oak Cliff area of Dallas, being doted on by her loving family and where she was soon surrounded by nieces and nephews only a handful of years younger than she was. She took pride in being a young aunt and treasured her nieces and nephews. She attended Richardson High School before studying business at Abilene Christian University. After graduation, Kathy moved to the Austin area where she raised her three sons - Benjamin (born 1982), Daniel (born 1983), and Jonathan (born 1985) - throwing herself into supporting roles for her boys' schooling and extracurricular activities. A very hands-on mother, she was always willing to volunteer as homeroom mom, Scout mom, PTO officer, little league snack provider, or any role of the sort. Kathy married Richard David Juliano, October 28, 1995, in a private ceremony in Fredericksburg, Texas. Her boys served as groomsmen. Avid collectors, Kathy and Rick enjoyed spending a weekend antiquing and could point you to the best antique store in most areas of Texas. Kathy also enjoyed playing piano, singing, watching movies, being with friends, and her church family at Westside Church of Christ.

Kathy was preceded in death by her father, Samuel David Peeler, Sr., her mother Francis Ellen Peeler, her mother-in-law Jo Ann Juliano, her father-in-law Lt. Col. Amore Victor "Vic" Juliano, and her sister, Nancy Ellen Blanks. She is survived by her husband, Richard David Juliano, of Round Rock Texas, her sons Benjamin Grant and wife Holly, of Abilene, Texas, Daniel Grant and wife Amanda, of Waco, Texas, and Jonathan Grant and wife Nicole, of Abilene, Texas, as well as eight grandchildren - Allie, Ava, Ashton, Stella, Deacon, Emersyn, Xavier, and Cora. She is also survived by her brother, Samuel David Peeler, Jr., and wife Jeanne, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services will be held on March 31, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., at Westside Church of Christ, 3300 FM 1431, Round Rock, Texas 78681.

To Kathy´s family, I´m so sorry! I just learned about her passing from Lisa Noteboom. I was just thinking about Kathy this evening, although we hadn´t seen each other since Kathy moved from Oak Cliff. Kathy was a fun, creative and talented girl. I loved playing at her house, though I didn´t have her talent for singing and acting in the skits she would devise.
Like Lisa, I was a classmate of Kathy´s at Rosemont Elementary School.

Oh my goodness, I´m so sorry for your loss... my condolences to all of you. Kathy and I were classmates in Blue Birds & elementary school together (ROSEMONT in Oak Cliff). She was always so friendly, cheerful, and fun to be around... May your lovely memories of her live on in all
Our hearts...

I remember Kathy as a young girl in Dallas and later connected with her on Facebook. She was loved by many and is certainly missed.
