Kathy Kiser Obituary
Born March 6, 1956, in Carlsbad, N.M., Kathy was a daughter of the late Thomas Earl and Audrey Nell (Reno) Patty. She was raised in Carlsbad and graduated from Carlsbad High School. Kathy married Jack Kiser, Nov. 12, 1979, in Abilene, Texas. She was a graduate of Abilene Christian University and taught reading recovery at Ortiz Elementary School for six years. Kathy was also an active member of Beltway Park Baptist Church, who spent each day furthering her relationship with Jesus Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Clinton Parker Kiser; one sister, Anita Bass; one brother, Len Patty; and her father-in-law, Speck Kiser.
Survivors include her husband, Jack Kiser of Abilene; two sons: Jackson Cole Kiser of Abilene and Samuel Chase Kiser and wife, Christi of Rockwall; four brothers: Thomas Patty, David Patty and wife, Suzanne, Terry Patty, and Kim Patty and wife, Cherene; three brothers-in-law: Del Bass, Kenneth Kiser and wife, Joyce, and Jerry Kiser and wife, Deaun; a sister-in-law, Kloyece Irvin and husband, Larry, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Family visitation was held Friday at the Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road in Abilene.
The family request that memorials be given to Hendrick Hospice Care, 1682 Hickory, Abilene, TX 79601.

I went to high school with Kathy and sang in Troubadors with her. She was a great girl and I am so sad to hear of her passing. My thoughts and prayers to her family.
