To the family of Kelly, Im so saddened not to be able to attend her memorial today due to weather where I am. My hope was to be able to share with you in person just how magnificent I think Kelly is. She was a dear coworker and colleague since 2013. I cherish every exchange and memory I have with her and we worked with families before we worked together at Partners and I was always so amazed at her heart and dedication. She was sooo committed. She went above and beyond to help those who are underserved and sometimes forgotten. She made sure every person and family she worked with had the best chance to access services and obtain even the most basic resources when she saw they were without...She has a heart of gold and anyone with who benefited from her advocacy was really lucky to have Kelly on their side. I will never forget her heart warming laughter, her beautiful smile and her all together illuminating presence. She worked until 6 most days and if she left before I did, she always made sure before she left, that I felt safe by myself and offered to walk with me if I wanted to move my car closer to the entrance of our building... without fail... every night we were in the office together. My heart aches at the thought of her physically not being with us any more. She is a light and I know she will never be forgotten. She will be missed dearly by so many. Please know that she touched the lives of sooo many in such meaningful ways that will ripple for generations to come. I could write so much more but just wanted to share this with you as you prepare to memorialize her. I send you all my thoughts And prayers for comfort for your hearts during this time. Her family at Partners will never forget her. I will never forget her and every day I will try and find a way to honor her memory
