Kenan Bunda Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 25, 2017.
Bunda, Kenan John

Kenan was a lifelong resident of Sister Bay. He graduated from Gibralter High School in 1976 and continued his education at UW Eau Claire, UW Stout and Arizona State University. Kenan was a Master Carpenter, who enjoyed building beautiful homes and custom craft furniture. Boats were an important part of Kenans life.

He enjoyed being on the water as well as restoring antique Chris Crafts, a hobby he shared with his late Father, Jack Bunda.

Kenan was an accomplished skier on both water and snow, an avid biker, and played baseball for the "Bays" as #9 in the Door County League. He also took his fathers place, planning and organizing the Sister Bay Marina Fest and the Sturgeon Bay Wooden Boat Show. Kenan was a devoted and loving Father who is survived by his two Daughters, Madison and Izabella Bunda, his Mother Pat Fairchild Bunda, his Sister Margo (Scott) Johnson, his Brother Mark Bunda, Nephews, Joe, Jake, and James Bunda, Sister In-law Betsy Ostran, Great Niece Natalie Bunda, along with a community of Loving Families and Friends. Kenan was taken from us after a two year battle with Brain Cancer, a devastating loss for all who were blessed to have had him as a Father, Son, Brother and Friend. A Memorial Service is planned for a later Date.
