Reno - Kenneth "Kenny" Bugica was born to Primo and Frances Bugica in Reno Nevada on March 5, 1949. He passed away unexpectedly in his sleep peacefully at home on June 19, 2025.

Kenny attended Orvis Ring Elementary, Dilworth Middle School and Sparks High School.

Kenny proudly served in the United States Marine Corp in Vietnam in 1967 and was a Purple Heart recipient.

Kenny had many accomplishments throughout his life. He was a successful General Contractor and Engineering Contractor in Nevada and California. He always had a passion for hard work and loved being a contractor.

Kenny was preceded in death by by his parents Primo and Frances.

He was a beloved father, grandfather, brother and son. He is survived by his daughters Kimberly (Justin) and Cara (Victoria the mother of his children), his brothers David Bugica (Barbara) and Mike Angelis (Angie). He has numerous grandchildren Brayden, Chloe and Amber. He had many nieces and nephews and cousins.

He loved spending time with his family and attending big Italian get togethers. His main focus of the gatherings was of course having his favorite Italian fondue "Bagna Cauda".

He had many hobbies that he enjoyed over the years. He loved boating, fishing of all sorts, hunting, traveling and watching football.

He had many great friends throughout his lifetime, too many to even mention. He was always good for a laugh.

Kenny is now at peace in Heaven with his mother and father and all of his friends and family that have passed.

Rest in heavenly peace dad, brother, son and friend. We will never forget you and you will forever be in our hearts until we are reunited with the Heavenly Father in his glorious Kingdom.

Reception for Kenny will be held at Paisans Old World Deli and Catering located at 6550 Longley Lane #110 in Reno, NV on July 12th at 1130am.

The Interment with military honors will be held at the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery located at 14 Veterans Way, Fernley Nevada 89408 on July 15th at 10:00 am.
