Funeral services for Kenneth Allen Carpenter will be 10:00 am Tuesday, October 6, 2015 in the Burks Walker Tippit Chapel in Tyler, with Bro. James Perryman officiating. Interment will follow in Tyler Memorial Park.
Kenneth was born on March 7, 1959 in Tyler to Maxwell and Frances Carpenter and passed away on October 3, 2015 in Whitehouse. He was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church.
He is survived by his mother, Frances Dwire of Whitehouse; brother, Mike Carpenter of Tyler; sisters, Cathy Brown and husband Johnny of Whitehouse, and Kay Watson and husband Clint of New Braunfels; numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, and niece Lynn Hanes.
Pallbearers will be Floyd Davis, Ray Sparks, J.R. Parker, Bobby Parker, Jim Hanes and Danny McNeese. The family will receive friends from 5:30-7:30 pm Monday evening at the funeral home.
If desired, memorials may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice or to Hillcreek Baptist Church.
