Peacefully at Hospice Care Ottawa with his family by his side on Sunday, May 1, 2016 aged 51 years. Loving father of Jake (Amanda) and Liam (Brittany). Dear son of Mary Daly and the late Claude Daly. Brother of Brenda (Steve Allen), Karen and Dan. Loving friend of Sandra, Shelley and Earl. Special thanks to the staff of the Hospice Care Ottawa for their care and compassion. I was truly shocked to hear of Ken's cruelly early passing. It was a pleasure to work with him at TrueContext. He was always supportive, positive and humorous. My deepest sympathies to his family.

As one of our team captains in our summer Monday night hockey league, I had the pleasure of not only meeting Ken, but also working with him in the managing of our league. Ken's positive and level-headed attitude was a calming force both on and off the ice, something so necessary for a self-refereed league. With distinction, Ken captained a team in our informal recreational summer hockey league. When the previous captain retired from the league, Ken stepped up to take on this sometimes thankless task. It has been guys, the likes of Ken, that have enabled this league to continue for over 40 years. Ken's management of his team always ensured a sportsmanlike game and there are more than 60 current players who will miss him. We just want his family and friends to know that he will be remembered and always respected by all of us for his good work and outstanding contribution in his recreational time.
