Obituary
Kenneth John Delmonico, Sr., age 86, passed away in Cape Coral, Florida on January 12, 2022, of natural causes.
Born on September 24, 1935, in Denver, Colorado, where he lived until moving to Florida in July of 2020. Kenneth graduated from Denver North High School with his wife of 55 years, Donna Lee Calabrese. He worked as a Denver Police officer for 42 years where he started as a patrolman and retired as a detective.
Survivors include his children, Kenneth (Rina) Delmonico, Jr. of The Villages, Florida, Anna (Vince) Wade of Cape Coral, Florida, Joseph (Leisha) Delmonico of Littleton, Colorado, Anthony (Missy) Delmonico of Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, Daniel (Lisa) Delmonico of Littleton, Colorado, Donald (Becky) Delmonico of Houston, Texas; eighteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Delmonico, son Michael Delmonico (who is survived by his wife, Barbra Delmonico and daughter Mary Rose); brothers Anthony and John Delmonico, and sisters Adeline Delmonico, Ann Delorenzo and Marge Mercer.
A Recitation of the Rosary will be held at 6:30 pm, Friday, January 21, at Horan & McConaty, 3101 South Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am, Saturday, January 22 at Holy Name Catholic Church, 3290 West Milan Place, Englewood.
