Kenneth Dreisbach Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Feb. 28, 2021.

It is with great sadness that we announce that Kenneth J. Dreisbach of Levittown, PA passed away unexpectedly during his sleep of a combination of COVID and Bronchitis on Saturday February 20, 2021. He was 60 years old.

Born in Bristol, PA on September 14th, 1960 and raised in Levittown, Pa, he was a graduate of DelHaas high school, class of 1979. As many of you know, Ken had a “ larger than life” personality and he made friends everywhere he went. He was a people person and loved to talk, looking forward to his many phone calls a day that he enjoyed receiving from his friends. Ken was the type of friend to drop whatever he was doing, no matter the day or time, to come and help those that needed his assistance, no matter what is was.

Ken was a Drywall Finisher since his days in high school, and most recently he worked for Philadelphia District Council 21 Union. He was proud of his skills and loved to hear praise from all those around him for the quality of work and artistic skills. In fact, while Ken was finishing up working at the Metropolitan Opera House in Philadelphia, he turned around to find that he was being admired by none other than Bob Dylan, who proceeded to tell him how talented he was and that his work was a lost art. (Obviously, you know he just loved and ate that up!) Ken enjoyed fishing and hunting throughout his whole life and was a soon to be lifetime member of the Clover Rod and Gun Club in Stockton NJ which he joined 1995. He was very proud of the dogs that he trained and hunted pheasants with including Silas, D.J., Gohan and Rebel. He just recently received Bella on February 15, and she was to be his new pride and joy.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents Clarence C. “Sonny” Dreisbach Jr and his mother Marybeth Dreisbach (Ferguson), sister Debra Cosgrove, brother in law Martin Cosgrove, and his Aunt Marilyn Jackson.

Left to treasure his memory are his wife Cynthia Dreisbach (Stoto), daughter Sarah Amos (Ky) and grandchild Noah, and son Ronald Dreisbach; his brother and friend Chuck Dreisbach (Maryann), sister Dawn Bancroft and her children Chach, Krystin and Courtney along with his uncle Ronald Dreisbach (Judy). Also left to treasure his memory are Cynthia’s family Joe Stoto (Gina) and son Randy, Terri Ragard (John) and their children Becky, Andrew and Stephen, Cathy Gaughan (Brian) and their children Delaney, Dale and James, Donna Gadola (Jim) and her children Jake and Lindsay, Tony Stoto (Sharri), and last but not least, Michael Stoto (Brenda) and their children Erin and Ryan.

Ken had many friends, too many too mention, however there are some that were such a big part of his daily life. I would like to express thanks to the following who were always there for Ken: Ted Janeczko; the Brooks’ brothers Abe, Alf and John; Mark and Joan Doyle; Mike and Kathy Zuzov; Mike and Rebecca Chukusky; Bob Deis; and Perry Cummins. Work friends Antonio C, John, and Vince Matijasik. Along with other members of his hunting club, special mention to Frank Simon, Tony Gioffre, William “Doc” Carter and Carl Jopko,

Family and friends are invited to attended his graveside services on Wednesday March 3, 2021 at 10:00 am at Rosedale Memorial Park,Richlieu Road,  Bensalem, PA. Services are being provided by Dougherty Funeral home.

Although all of our hearts are breaking, the one thing that gives us comfort is to know that his best friend in life and “brother from another mother” (John) Michael Romer, who preceded Ken in death, was sure to be there to help Ken with his transition and make sure he wasn’t alone. All that knew Ken and Mike will agree that they are now kicking up trouble and constantly making each other laugh in the afterlife since rejoining each other’s company together.

Kenny, we love you, and can’t imagine life without your constant joy and enthusiasm that made everyday special. You definitely will not be forgotten anytime soon by all that loved and cherished you.
