Kenneth Goldman Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Apr. 18, 2025.
Kenneth Martin "Kenny" Goldman, 87, of New York, New York, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 7, 2025, at his home.

Kenny was born in 1937, in Brooklyn, New York to M. Robert and Fay (Jaffe) Goldman. After graduating from Erasmus High School, he went on to earn a bachelor's degree from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a master's degree from Columbia University. He joined the family business, M. Robert Goldman & Company, and served the NYC and Long Island areas as a mortgage banker for five decades. Today, his son, Jonathan, continues his father's legacy at MRG.

Kenny met his cherished wife of 61 years, Rosalind, on a trip to Puerto Rico. Together they pursued their shared love of travel and entertaining with their friends and family, frequently visiting Rosalind's family in San Juan, hosting gatherings on Long Island, and welcoming many friends and family members at their lake house in Lovell, Maine.

Affectionately nicknamed "Mr. Fix-It" by family and friends, Kenny loved gadgets and was an expert tinkerer, especially when it came to electronics. He was also an accomplished photographer. His photography can be seen in the book "Our Kezar", which depicts scenes from Kezar Lake in Lovell, Maine, his beloved home away from home.

Above all, Kenny was a devoted friend, father, husband, son, brother-in-law, uncle, and "Abuelo."

In addition to his wife, Rosalind, he is survived by his three children and their spouses, Michelle (Jeffrey) Eisenberg, Jonathan (Pam) Goldman, and Andrea (Marc) Sommer; his grandchildren, Rachel (Rob) Ritchie, Matthew Eisenberg, Max (Sapir Flank) and Sophie Goldman, and Benjamin Sommer; and his great-grandchildren, Bobby and Nate Ritchie.

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at Sinai Chapels in Forest Hills, Queens.
