Published by Legacy Remembers on May 7, 2024.
Kenneth Allen Redman, 75, of Bessemer, Alabama, passed away on May 3, 2024, in Chelsea, Alabama. He was born on August 16, 1948.

Kenneth had a long career with Jefferson County. He was dedicated to his work and made many lasting contributions during his time there.

Kenneth was a beloved father to his son, Kregg Redman, and daughter, Lily Redman. He was also a cherished grandfather to Colby Redman, Tyler Redman, Ethan Redman, and Ethan Womack. Kenneth is survived by his sister, Debe Redman, and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Ercy Redman, mother, Ruth Redman, and brothers, Russell Redman, Michael Redman, and Dale Redman.

In his free time, Kenneth enjoyed spending quality moments with his family and friends. He had a passion for fishing and hunting and was an avid fan of Alabama football and the Atlanta Braves. Fishing, especially catching a big crappie, brought him immense joy. Kenneth's friendly nature endeared him to many, and his presence will be deeply missed.

A memorial service to honor and celebrate Kenneth's life will be announced at a later date. May he rest in peace.

Kenneth, we are cousins; your mom, Ruth & my dad, John were siblings. I remember as a young girl visiting your family in Bessimer. Later in life, our families would meet at granny Watson's GA house for get togethers.
Thoughts & prayers for Kenneth's family in his passing. Cousin Amy
