Kenneth Lee Robertson

Kenneth Lee Robertson, 89, passed away on June 18, 2014. He was born April 12, 1925 in Ada, Oklahoma to the late Alonzo & Maude Robertson. Kenneth was a graduate of Central High School, Oklahoma City. He was a Printer with the Roberts Printing Company in OKC for many years. He loved fishing, boating and watching water sports and was a huge fan of OU and the OKC Thunder. Kenneth was also an honorably discharged Veteran of the Army Air Corp (United States Air Force). His greatest military achievement was the 30 successful missions as a belly gunner on a B-17.
Kenneth is survived by his loving wife, Vera Jean Robertson of the home and his children, Karen Mencke & her husband, Bill of Oklahoma City; Cindy Schopf & husband, Jerry of Lafayette, LA and Bill Robertson & wife, Margaret of Oklahoma City; four grandchildren, three great grandchildren and many other loving relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by his brother, Vernon Robertson & sister in law, Jane and sister, Edith Greene and her husband, Sammy. Graveside services for Mr. Kenneth Lee Robertson will be 10:00 am Saturday, June 21, 2014 at Rose Hill Burial Park, Oklahoma City.
