Kenneth William Teague Sr.

Kenneth William Teague, Sr. passed away on May 9th, 2023, at the age of 74 in Akron, Ohio. He was born on March 14, 1949, in Silver City, NM

Kenny, as he was known to his loved ones, was an avid gear head who spent 34 years as a diesel mechanic and truck driver at Alan Ritchey. He logged over a million miles during his 21 years on the road, often joking that he was "sitting in his office, looking out the window."

Kenny served his country with honor as a member of the United States Navy, and he was a proud member of the American Legion. He spent much of his free time with his family at the racetrack, being a band booster dad, camping, and traveling.

Kenny is survived by his wife, Susan, and his children Tracy Teague of CA, Amy and husband Billy Mirabal of AZ, Sarah and husband Victor "Tito" Cabrera, Jessica Cabrera, Kenny Jr. and wife Kassy Teague all of NM, Krystal Spiegle of OH and Courtney and husband Jack Bishop of TX. Teresa Taylor of NM. He is also survived by his siblings Margaret Daniel, Leon and wife Dolores Teague, Lonnie and wife Maggie Teague all of NM, eighteen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Kenny was preceded in death by his father, Nick Teague, his mother, Isie Teague, his brother-in-law David Daniel, and his son-in-law Adam Cabrera.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, June 3rd 2023 at 11am located at Baca's Funeral Chapels 811 S Gold Ave, Deming, NM 88030. The family will have a private burial service at Ft. Bayard National Cemetery on June 5th 2023.
