Dear Zonia & Shane:
I was very saddened to here that Ken has Passed on. Ken & yourself, Zonia, attended my Mom's funeral - Joan Vandaele, in Innisfail almost three years ago now. Although I didn't have the opportunity to visit with him, I could see that he was very happy and it warms my heart to know that he had so many friends and enjoyed the church and playing music. We will all miss him and no one will miss hime more than your family. We were all blessed to have known Ken and he lives on in our hearts.
Ken's cousin,

Hi Zonia and Shane:
I fully intended to be at Ken's funeral today as he has always been a loving cousin. I was able to get away from work but I decided not to come because of the road conditions. I believe the last time I saw the two of you was at auntie Marian's funeral. I regret that I was not even aware that Ken was suffering from cancer. I have not seen Ken very much since he left Calgary as we used to run into each other once in awhile and I was always happy to see him. We grew up together with many gatherings at the Thorlakson farm. Even though I did not see Ken very often, I loved him and will miss him dearly. I have not met Shane but I am glad that Ken had a step-son to love. Our memories of Ken will always be with us and so he will never really leave us. Love and thoughts to you both.
Love Carole and family

Dear Zonia,
I do not believe we have ever met, but I am one of Ken's many cousins. Although I have not seen Ken for years, I have fond memories of him and some of the laughs we shared at family occasions. His passing reminds all of us of our own mortality, and I am certain that we will meet again. My deepest sympathy at the loss of one you loved.

Dear Zonia and Shane,
Although no words can really help to ease the loss you bear, just know that you are very close in my thoughts and prayers. I will miss visiting with Kenny at your family gatherings as he was a very kind and caring man and a joy to be around.
