Kenneth Westberg

Kenneth "Ken" Westberg, Jr., 73, passed away on June 25, 2025, in Delray Beach, Florida. Born on April 2, 1952, in Biloxi, Mississippi, raised in Rockland, Massachusetts, Ken lived a life marked by intellectual curiosity, humor, and unwavering devotion to his family and friends.

A talented electrical engineer by profession, Ken dedicated his career to working on numerous prestigious projects. His deeply analytical mind and insatiable thirst for knowledge made him a respected figure in his field. Whether solving complex technical problems or mentoring others with patience and insight, Ken brought excellence and integrity to everything he did.

Ken was a loving husband to Kathleen Westberg and a devoted father to Kurt Westberg, Kara Westberg, Kenneth Westberg III, and Janis Ornelas. He took immense pride in his grandchildren-Kenneth Westberg IV, Mackenzie Westberg, Zoey Westberg, Gregory Westberg, David Young, and Jake Young-each of whom brought him great joy. Even the family dog Bohdi held a special place in his heart as his beloved Granddog nicknamed by him "bat-dog".

Known for his quick wit and generous spirit, Ken had a unique ability to light up any room with laughter. He was fluent in movie quotes and could carry entire conversations using only song lyrics-a talent that never failed to amuse those around him. A master of the classic Dad joke and always ready for a spirited debate, Ken never passed up an opportunity to argue a point with passion and precision.

Outside of work and family life, Ken enjoyed golf and basketball and was an avid fan of movies and music. A proud conservative Republican, he engaged thoughtfully with the world around him and remained steadfast in his beliefs.

Ken's legacy is one of love, laughter, intellect, and generosity. He wouldn't hesitate to help a friend in need and approached life with both humor and heart. His memory will live on through the stories shared by those who knew him best.

A celebration of life will be planned by the family and communicated at a later date.
