Funeral Service for Keva Shawn Turnquest, age 48 years, of Deadman's Cay, Long Island, will be held at St. John's Anglican Church, Buckley's, Long Island, on Saturday December 21st, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. Officiating will be Canon Harry Ward. Interment will follow in Gray's Memorial Cemetery, Gray's, Long Island.

Left to cherish her memories are her mother: Ida Turnquest; her siblings: Kayla (John) Curry, Ian (Ruth) Turnquest, Sterling (Christine) Turnquest, Mahaylia (David) Harding, Phillipa Turnquest, Vaness (Tyrone) Knowles, Ryan Turnquest and Domonic (Shavonne) Turnquest; adopted children: Vonetta Burrows, Ashley, Brittany, Meghan and Waverley Moore, Andre Smith and Sherese Wells; adopted mother: Elva Novin Turnquest; aunts and uncles: Dame Ivy Dumont, Sheila Lightbourn, Cora Cartwright; Gretchen (Carlton) Jones, Geron (Sylvia) Turnquest, Chester (Barbara) Turnquest, Anna Cooper, Berkley (Jennifer) Turnquest, Fronia Turnquest, Dudley (Althea) Turnquest, Kenneth (Ida) Turnquest, Angela (Harold) Wells, Blanche Turnquest and Rowena Cornish; nieces: Johnaka Curry, Camille Turnquest, Heather Harding, Tiffany (Anthony) Ingrham and Anthea Knowles, Leslia and Alissa; nephews: Christopher, Triston and Shabazio Turnquest, Nathen and Isaiah Harding and Caden Knowles; grand niece: Summer Ingraham; godchildren; other relatives and friends including: the entire BTC family, the Long Island Softball Association and the Long Island Sailing Club, Agnessa Martin, Oliver Lundy and many others too numerous to mention .

Friends may pay their last respects at Butlers' Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Ernest and York Streets on Thursday December 19th, 2013 from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. On Friday December 20th, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and at St. Theresa's Anglican Church in Gray's, Long Island from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. On Saturday December 21st, 2013 at St. John's Anglican Church in Buckley's, Long Island from 8:00 a.m. until service time.
