Kevin T. "Doc" Gribbin, 69, of Greensburg, died Monday, Nov. 17, 2014, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 16, 1945, in Greensburg, a son of the late Patrick Hugh and Katherine Troy Gribbin. He graduated from Greensburg Central Catholic High School in 1963. Kevin received a doctorate degree in chiropractic at Palmer College in Davenport, Iowa. He held a private practice in Greensburg for 44 years. Kevin was tremendously gifted in his profession and was very passionate about caring for his patients. Kevin is survived by his former spouse and mother of his children, Kate (Brandt) Gribbin; five children, Kevin Gribbin (Judy), of Gibsonia, Shawn Gribbin (Jill), of Greensburg, Maggie Zoppetti (Gregg), of Latrobe, Tim Gribbin (Alicia), of Youngwood, and Kathleen Kemerer (Robert), of Greensburg; 16 grandchildren, Shane, Kory, Brandt, Timon and Calin Gribbin, Rachel, Beau and Austin Gribbin, Kelsie, Lexie, Micaela and Chayce Zoppetti, Sarah and Molly Gribbin, and Addison and Jacob Kemerer; six siblings, Patrick Gribbin (Jane), of Tampa, Fla., Mary Ann Gaffney, of State College, Daniel Gribbin (Patty), of Seattle, Wash., Timothy Gribbin (Julia), of Doylestown, Rory Gribbin (Maryann), of Sarasota, Fla., and Katie Fodor (Mark), of Greenville, N.C.; and many other loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Kevin from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the CLEMENT L. PANTALONE FUNERAL HOME INC., 409 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA 15601, 724-837-0020. Parting prayers will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, Greensburg. Burial will be private.
