i can not adequately express my sadness, regret, and sympathy.

Jane, I was just sick when I saw Kevin's name in the online paper. This is really a tragedy and our hearts go out to you. He was such a great kid and a joy to know. You have our deepest sympathy.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Kevin's entire family. Although I haven't seen Kevin since highschool, I will always remember what a wonderful friend and kind hearted person Kevin was. He had such a bright and easy smile, it was infectious. His loss so early is tragic, but I am thankful to have known such a great person.

Jane & Brian all of the Aunts and Other Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews, Grandparents, Brothers and Sisters. My deepest condolences, such a Great loss cuts so great a wound in the heart one wonders how it will ever heal. I have only memories of Kevin smiling, how he could bring a room to life just by entering it. How we all longed to hear the stories of his travels. I pray for pain of losing him to stop, and I'm so very thankful to have been able to share him with you. I'll leave you now with a prayer I shared with Brian one night, it helped us then I hope it will help us again.
God Bless You All
God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next.
Amen.

I became friends with Kevin in high school and I will always remember his big heart, his infectious adventuresome streak, and mediocre basketball skills. Because of his warm personality, and his ease of speaking with all different types of people, he was liked and appreciated by everyone who met or spent time with him, including myself. Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss.

Before Kevin joined Troop 90, Bob Tilden told me I would like him- that he was smart and serious and determined. I soon learned that he was also fun and adventurous and very big-hearted. I will always remember Kevin flying kites on the Washington Mall, singing Billy Joel and the Beatles on the Kennebeck River, and acting as my co-counsel for the big DC fugitve case of '87. I can't express how sorry I am to see him go so soon.

It has been many years since I have seen Kevin, but I was so sad to hear this terrible news. Kevin was one of the sweetest, most kind hearted guys I ever had the pleasure of knowing. I'll always remember him and his guitar. My deepest sympathies to his family at this trying time.

I haven't seen Kevin since High School, but I'll always remember him as a bright eyed, energetic kid that I'd chat with on the long bus ride in. I couldn't be sadder to here this news.

We would like to express our deepest sympathies to Kevin's family and all of his friends.
We met him by surprise on his voyage through Europe but his presence has never been forgotten.
It is very sad that this has become a memory now.

Dear Jane, Brian and family members. My deepest sympathies and condolences on this tragic loss for all of us. While Kevin was taken earlier than most, his life was a life of adventure, accomplishment and experiences that many his elder have never nor will never enjoy. His vision for his life was clear and determined and I have no doubt he would have reached all of his goals and aspirations for his character and drive were obvious and admirable. You and he are in my prayers and will remain so always. With much love and sorrow, Uncle Robert
