Kim Tracy Hume

Evansville - Kim Tracy Hume, 58, of Evansville, passed away on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at his home with his beloved dachshund, Gabby, at his bedside. He was born on August 2, 1962 in Washington, Indiana.

He retired from Walmart after 25 years of service. Kim really enjoyed working with his co-workers and customers. After his retirement, he enjoyed living at Percy Priest Lake in Nashville, Tennessee during the months of March through December.

Tracy was preceded in death by his brother, Kavin Hume (1995).

He is survived by his mother, Diana Hume; aunt and uncle, Button and Jack Cates; and cousins, Kirt and Lee Jay Cates.

The family would like to thank Bob Johnson (neighbor) and Carolyn Winiger (Sycamore Services) for their special care of Tracy.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at Alexander East Chapel officiated by Celebrant Carrie Hatchett. Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery in Winslow, Indiana. Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions can be made to It Takes A Village Canine Rescue, 1417 North Stockwell Road, Evansville, Indiana 47715.

Tracy was such a Special person;always smiling and working hard.When he found out who I was he would always ask me about my sister Dee who was married to his brother . He was always busy.RIP

To Tracy’s mom and family. I worked with Tracy for several years at Eastside Walmart. He retired before I did, but I’ll never forget him. He always had a big smile and hug for me everyday. He was a good employee and I’m sure everyone will miss him as much as I will. RIP Tracy and give Pat a big hug for me!
