Kim Sera Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jan. 17, 2015.
Kim Louise Sera June 12, 1969 - January 4, 2015 Kim's brave battle with Cancer came to a peaceful end on Sunday, January 4, 2015 with her husband John by her side. Throughout her courageous battle, Kim never lost her humour and grace.

Through work, Kim met her husband John Sera, they were blessed with their beautiful daughter Georgia. With John, her proudest achievement was building a loving home for their darling little "G" and her furry brothers River and Gunnar. Kim lived her life without regret and to those that knew her was the essence of life, and will forever live on in all that she touched.

Kim was predeceased by her father George Louis Corley and she will continue to be loved and missed by her husband John, daughter Georgia, her mother Lois Comeau (Terry), In-Laws Brian Sera, Karen Kellerman and Constance Taylor, as well as her extended family and friends.

A Celebration of her life will be held at McInnis & Holloway Funeral Homes - Fish Creek Chapel. Monday January 19, 2015 @ 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, Kim and John wanted donations to be made to the Foothills Country Hospice in Okotoks, AB. A family trust has also been set-up for those that wish to contribute: Deposits can be made at South Centre or Okotoks branches of Scotia Bank account #124190337927 or by email transfer to [email protected].

John and Georgia! No words can express our sympathy. Our heart goes out to both of you. Kim was an awesome friend, and an amazing lady and mother. I will never forget the time we were able to spend together when the girls were first born and we lived next door.
John I know that you will do an amazing job with the help of both friends and family raising your beautiful daughter.
Always in our thoughts. Even though we are far away, if you ever need anything, don't hesitate to ask.
Charlene, Ryan and Isabelle
