Korinthia Gail Jones Massey Smith

Mrs. Korinthia Gail Jones Massey Smith, 67, of Crossville, AL, formerly of Denver, NC, passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, following a period of declining health. Korinthia was born on November 20, 1954 in Bluefield, WV to Glois Meherg Jones and the late Steward Jones. She was employed as a registered nurse. Survivors include her husband, Albert Smith of the home, her mother, Glois Jones, three children; Daniel Massey and wife Tosha Waddell-Massey of Belmont, Rachel Pardue and husband Micheal of Granite Falls, and Jeremy Massey and wife Amanda of Angier, NC, and three sisters: Rhonda Mullen and husband Thomas, Tammy Ashley and husband Ricky, and Christie Phipps and husband Stephen. Also surviving are her ten grandchildren: Chandler Massey, Josiah and Joanna Massey, Elijah, Jason, Kyle, Kristen, Addie, Lily, and Micheal Pardue Jr., and the father of her children, Gerald Massey. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at 2:30 P.M. at the Denver First Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Micheal Pardue officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Lincolnton. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, from 12:30 until 2:30 P.M. at the Denver Baptist Church.
