Cook, Kristy L., of Pompano Beach, FL, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, November 1, 2001. Kristy graduated from Cardinal Gibbons High School in 1994, and attended the University of North Florida. She has been a valued employee of Furman Insurance for the past four and a half years. Kristy is survived by her loving parents, Ward & Nancy Cook; sister, Sandy Cook-McDonald; niece, Kaitlyn McDonald; and numerous aunts, uncles and friends. There will be a visitation on Saturday from 5 - 9 PM at the funeral home. The service will be on Saturday, 7:00 PM, also at the funeral home. Arrangements by KRAEER FUNERAL HOME, 4061 North Federal Hwy, Fort Lauderdale, 954-565-5591.

Kristie,

You may be gone from our sight, but not from our hearts. We will always have our memories of the fun we had. High School football games, late night board games, your love of animals...I could go on and on. Even though you were not with us for very long, I am glad that you were a part of my life. You touched many, many people, and I just hope you can now realize just how special you were to all of us. You are walking with the Angels now...watch over us till we meet again!

You have changed my life in so many ways you will never know,
I am so happy that I had the chance to meet you and spend
9 wonderful months of my life with you.
I only wish we could have more time together.
I wish that you could see all the things I saw in you,
You are so uniqe in so many ways and I was so intrigued
by you the moment we met and everyday since then
You taught me what it was like to feel and love someone so much
I am sorry that you were so unhappy here and I hope you have found
what you have been looking for all these years.

Kristy, I know that i didn't know you for Long Enough but i did know you, I would have never thought out of all people this would occur, I never got to say Goodbye or anything, but it breaks my heart to know that you are gone and at such a young age (even though im only 15 now.) I'm going to miss you whole bunches Kristy ( I already do ), im sitting here crying because in my life i've had alot of people leave me, and it hurts me to have another. I Really Miss You !!
