April 29, 2016 (Had to re-post this, forgot to put who it was from on the initial one.

We are in total shock to learn of the tragic accident that took Kurt from us. A friend and wonderful financial adviser for my mother for many years, he was always at the ready to assist with questions, concerns, problems, advice. He will be sorely missed. Kurt was a godsend for Mom and his shoes will be hard to fill. Our heartfelt sorrow to his partner, his family and office staff. May he rest in peace. Iowa will welcome home a native son to his final resting place.

It was our pleasure to watch Kurt grow up in our neighborhood. He showed definite signs of leadership while a member of our local Boy Scout Troop. Though distance separated us over the years, many fond memories of Kurt remain.

It's pretty rare to meet someone that's so friendly and caring to everyone they meet. I'm so glad I got to know Kurt. I will miss him, but will remember his constant smile and kind words and try to share those more often with the people in my life.

Kurt was a dear friend and neighbor. He was always there when we needed him. He helped us choose the colors for our historic home in downtown Provo and helped put together several service projects to get the job done. When my husband was out of a job he hired him to do odd jobs around his house and paid me to make custom curtains for his front room in Provo. He talked to me and treated me like an actual human being, not through the filter of being a married woman like a lot of men do. I loved that about him. He will be missed.
