Kyle Faulkner Obituary
He was born Nov. 9, 1987, in Cooperstown. Kyle is the son of Ford and Rhoda (Czerwein) Banks.
Kyle graduated from Charlotte Valley Central School the class of 2006.
He was presently employed at Otsego Auto Crushers. He also helped out at Interskate-88 where he had many friends.
Kyle enjoyed riding his motorcycle, spending time with his family and friends, hunting, fishing, four-wheeling, paint balling, and several other outdoor activities. Kyle enjoyed fixing cars and being in the demolition derby which he came in first place this year. He loved camping and playing the bean-bag game, hitting golf balls off the front yard, snowmobiling and pulling his cousins, Zach and Ethan Garrison, in a tractor tire tube.
Kyle loved spending time with his siblings taking his little brothers to their games and being their personal cheerleader. Kyle was always happy and lived everyday like it was his last. Kyle is loved and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Kyle is survived by his parents, Rhoda and Ford Banks of Davenport Center; three brothers, Bailey, Kaleb and Jonathan; one sister, Jessica and partner, Aaron, and niece, Hannah; fiance, Maria Stevens; grandparents, Madeline Kozer, Charles and Martha Czerwein, Linda Banks and partner, Bert, Ford Banks Sr. and partner, Jeanie; aunts, Lisa and Bob Petracca, Deb and Scott Lull, Sherry and Jim Ingerham; uncles, Mike Czerwein, Barry and AnnMarie Welsh; as well as several cousins; and many friends.
Calling hours will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2009, in the Bookhout Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oneonta.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24, 2009, in the funeral home with the Rev. Mel Farmer, pastor of the River Street Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Emmons. Following the burial there will be a reception at the East Meredith Fire Department.

Dear Family,
Kyle was a wonderful person that was loving and caring to all of his friends and family every chance he could get. Kyle would always come over to my house just to hangout with my brother Brandon all the time and vise versa. I remember all the great times that they had together, like fishing, snowmobiling, four-wheeling, hunting and etc. Kyle would get his hair cut by my mom(Rhonda Hitchcock) every chance he could get. When ever Kyle got his hair cut he would always play cars with my son Zachariah before he left my moms shop. Kyle you were like a brother to me, and I will love and miss you always buddy. I was one of Kyle's GED teachers at BOCES and am so glad I had the chance to know him. He was a great kid. I remember he was late for my class nearly every day because he always had to stop off beforehand to stock up on his snack of pop tarts...! I am so sorry to hear about Kyle. I remember him when we came up to visit and he was a quiet funny guy. My daughter remembers givin him her stud earring it looked better on him anyway. Words can't express my grief as a parent you don't expect to do this for your child. It makes us hold our children closer everyday. Time will help, but it will take time for the hurt to lessen.
